Hello friends, I am asking for your help with an issue. I haven’t been able to set it up properly. I bought a Deluxe package on GoDaddy. I installed my first site without any problems. For the second site, I added my domain name as an addon domain and specified the document root as the folder. I performed the WordPress installation. However, my site worked as www.xyz.com/foldername instead of www.xyz.com. This is my first time using GoDaddy.
What steps
Sir, did you install WordPress or another script? I would like to help based on that. If you installed WordPress, from the WordPress admin panel > Settings > General
Edit the WordPress Address (URL)
Site Address (URL) > It probably says www.xyz.com/klasor, delete the folder and edit it to www.xyz.com
Save Changes
At this stage, you will get a “Not Found” warning, do not panic.
Open FTP and move the WordPress files in the subdirectory to the main directory.
Then you can log in to your site nicely.
However, if it is a different script, write the script name and we will try to fix it as best we can.

@cernobil Thank you very much, Sir. When just starting to learn, even easy operations can be problematic.. I was able to get my site to the state I wanted using the method you mentioned..
Not at all, Sir; problems will surely arise, and as you resolve these problems and learn more, it will become even more enjoyable. If you get stuck on any subject, I would be happy to help. Good luck with your work.

GoDaddy is fine and all, but both the interface and the Deluxe hosting are very slow. Okay, the hosting has 512MB of RAM so it’s slow, but I just can’t understand why the interface is so slow.
You are right, sir, it gets much more enjoyable as I learn, but since I also work a separate job, I try to find time at night to work on it. I hope I succeed.
Sir, I am using it for the first time. I used cPanel on Güzelnet before. Godaddy’s interface seemed a bit complicated to me, but I am trying to learn it now.
