Hello everyone, first of all, we open and close so many sites; I’m sure everyone is working in a specific niche. Of course, to those who will open a site, and speaking for myself—even though I’ve been dealing with this for years—I have sometimes hit a dead end.
The topic and the thing I am curious about is this: we are going to open a site, let’s say “evening wear models”—what are the traffic and AdSense RPM rates like? The person opening the site just opens it right up, enters content with a burst of enthusiasm, and then gives up. My exact goal is to continue these kinds of fields under this topic. If you write about the fields you have entered before or are curious about, I think we will have shed light on newcomers.
Most forums do not discuss such things openly, but I opened this thread to make it transparent, to tell what I know, and to learn what I don’t know. This topic is actually very important; the site you will enter and open should be a subject you like and can earn money from. Therefore, if everyone helps each other and answers with what they know, beginners will keep their money in their pockets, and it will be very beneficial if they proceed based on recommendations.
The fields I entered were gaming, TV, and general forums. If you ask which one I am running right now, it would be a lie; these are very, very competitive keywords. My advice to those who will enter is: if they don’t have the financial means, they shouldn’t enter at all. That becomes the first recommendation from me..
The areas I am curious about are, for example, what is the traffic for evening wear models, what is the RPM rate?
What are the traffic rates for skincare like, how is the revenue?
I have topics I am curious about like these.
Sir, it’s a great topic, thank you. I once opened a site aimed at consumer groups with a concept like “What is XXX product and where to buy it”. (By XXX, I mean things like a dishwasher, a TV remote, not just xyz).
I sat down and wrote the first 30 - 50 pieces of content myself, but after a while, when I couldn’t find topics to write about, I lost interest in the project. My advice is to stay away from a site if you are too unfamiliar with the subject to produce content for it. I think articles should only be outsourced for feeder sites; for a site intended to make money, I believe we must put in the effort ourselves.
@oalatumur there are topics to write about, everyone’s skills are different of course, but I tried so hard to explain this topic and besides 2 people there is no participation, what can we say.
@sehriatlantis most of those who will open new ones might not know, they will see this topic if they research, that’s why, but still, it makes more sense to open sites on less attractive topics.
Sharing experiences is a very good idea. Additionally, people who have previously worked in the same field could consider transferring their old sites and feeder sites for a reasonable fee. For example, someone who has built a site on skincare but is no longer maintaining it can transfer their resources.
