Which SEO methods work in 2017? Let's discuss - Let's brainstorm

Hello friends. I thought we could discuss under one heading what tactics everyone is applying on satellite sites, which methods you have tried, and what works. Maybe if we write down our organized actions and the results we got, we can get a general idea.

My own experiences;

  • On-site SEO must be flawless.
  • If the site isn’t ranking and gets stuck at a certain point, a theme change can be made. Just by changing the theme, I have entered the top 5 from positions 13-14 for very competitive keywords.
  • If the satellite sites are trash, it is better not to link at all. The satellite site should be like the main site. Otherwise, you can’t get any effect.
  • Traffic, traffic, traffic. It doesn’t work without traffic. If link impact cannot be obtained, it’s traffic. This topic is very broad but it is one of my guaranteed methods. In my opinion, no matter what, there must be traffic and visitors on the site.
  • For fluctuating keywords, plain URLs can be used, or nofollow can be applied. If there is fluctuation, it briefly means the site is weak but you are on the right track. I have experienced fluctuations entering from ranks 15-20 in very competitive keywords on sites with flawless on-page SEO. I think the solution lies in link balance and strengthening the site. This is also comprehensive and I will explain it at cryptosam.com.

And so on, these were things I experienced that extended in my own way. If you also write your experiences, we can determine definite and clear methods by creating something like a common list.

Comments are very important. Page power is increased with different IPs and up-to-date comments.
Also, having social media accounts is necessary. Occasionally boosting posts on Facebook ensures traffic flow from the social network as well.

Mobile themes and even the AMP system have definitely become a must-have.

To increase the site’s loading speed, using a CDN (Content Delivery Network) is very beneficial, especially if you are working with a global site. For CDN usage, you can use Amazon’s system if you wish. Alternatively, MaxCDN will be a different solution for you.

According to what has been written so far;

  • Must have comments- Must use AMP- Must use CDN (Amazon, maxcdn, cdn77) different alternatives.[/ol]

This is always said but “unique content” + “traffic to this content from social media like Facebook, Twitter, etc., sponsored traffic” see: Onedio

SEO is now completely shifting towards content. I think Google is manually reviewing all content and bringing the quality ones to the forefront.
Fluctuations in rankings are, in my opinion, also proof that the site hasn’t reached its full power. And adding backlinks from a site without traffic has no benefit anymore.

The site receives 50-100 comments daily. It ranks in the top 5 for the main keyword and in the top 15 for the others, with a monthly search volume of 1 million. Traffic does not exceed 1K. Half of the traffic is from social media. Alexa TR is around 30,000. But isn’t the traffic low?

For some keywords, moving from rank 3 to 2 doubles your hits. I suggest pushing a little more on the rankings.

Sir, I now only get sponsored posts from news-registered sites. Or I try to get sponsored posts, profile backlinks, and a few comment backlinks from .edu and .gov extension sites. Whois backlinks are now perceived as spam.
