Making Money with Amazon Affiliate
Amazon.com has been a platform for buying and selling online since 1996. This platform, with thousands of sellers and millions of customers, establishes and runs an affiliate marketing system internally. However, it only works on a commission-per-sale basis, meaning you can only earn a percentage from sales. Commission rates for items you sell or think you can sell range from 4% to 10%, and if you have earned $100 or more at the end of 30 days, it is transferred to your account and later sent to your address as a check.
After providing general information, let’s briefly touch on how we can do affiliate marketing. There is no product restriction on Amazon; there is no such thing as “you can’t sell this, sell that.” For example, if you have a cosmetic or makeup blog, you can sell a cosmetic product via a recommendation link.

So, is a website required to become an affiliate on amazon.com? Actually, no, based on my experience. It is possible to do this with a YouTube channel, a Facebook page, or even an empty Blogspot. My suggestion is to proceed in whichever direction you have potential. If you have a good Facebook page, go with that. Later, if you want to do something extra to earn, that’s up to you. Now go to the Amazon affiliate page from here. After clicking join, fill in your personal information without using Turkish characters. Afterwards, the approval process takes about 1 day. When entering your information, first provide the name of the website, Facebook page, or YouTube channel where you will make sales and advertising. If you have all of them, just give the name of the one you will focus on for sales. Now that we have been approved and have become affiliates, we can start selling. First, to find the product you can sell, go to amazon.com and find our product or products. The point you need to pay attention to here is to find “free shipping” products. To do this, you can write the product name “free shipping” in the search bar. Why do we choose free shipping? If you are going to sell to Turkey, this is an advantage because shipping costs are at least half of the product price, but if you have a foreign website, shipping costs are a bit lower in foreign countries, especially in the USA and the UK.

Then let’s take the product number so that we can find the product from the affiliate panel and add it to our site. After choosing the free shipping products you want, let’s find the section in the link that says dp. /dp/B0068Y6CA4/ is the product number of the product I chose; the image below will help.

We found our product. Now all we have to do is take the links and promote the product on Facebook, YouTube, or our website, thus making sales and earning money.
