Blogger Wordpress.com Wordpress

I have opened and closed many sites before, but now I want to get into a serious business… I have been following both Cryptosam and this site for a long time… I have quite a few ideas on many topics, but I am undecided on this one… I intend to open a site and keep it running for the long term, but I don’t want to deal too much with hosting and such… I want to earn money with the site(s) I open (perhaps like everyone else)… Also, there isn’t much information on the site regarding this, so I think it would be good to discuss it.

  1. Do you think a Blogger and WordPress.com premium account would work for me? Or do I absolutely have to buy hosting and install WordPress?
  2. Are there any known misconceptions regarding Blogger and WordPress.com premium accounts?
  3. There are so many experienced people on the site; I think it would be great if a step-by-step guide on opening a site from scratch were prepared… Cryptosam actually mentions this in the section about buying a house on his site, but it would be great if something like that were done here as well…

Finally, I want to ask: can I earn 2000-3000 TL per month by working 7-8 hours a day (without any shady tricks)? I mean, is it worth putting that much effort into this subject?

I won’t be able to answer your first three questions, I haven’t used a Blogger or WordPress premium account. With 7-8 hours of work a day—I assume you mean adding original content—I think you can earn. But it might take a year to a year and a half for your monthly income to reach 2-3 billion.

Thank you for the information.. the duration doesn’t actually matter much, I probably won’t be able to work 7-8 hours a day at the beginning anyway, I already have a job and have to manage both.. so 2-3 years doesn’t seem like a very long time…

Sir, you can do this job with strict work discipline and patience. Of course, the sector you will enter is also important.

My student friend, let me answer your 2nd question.

If you are going to open a WordPress-based site, you can do so via either wordpress.com or wordpress.org. Sites opened via wordpress.org have unlimited paid and free options regarding subjects like themes and plugins.

However, wordpress.com is a different platform. You can open a blog from this site. Later, you can switch to a premium account, purchase a domain, and redirect the blog to the domain.
I used a WordPress premium account before, but I wasn’t satisfied. Because even if the account is premium, there aren’t that many theme options. You cannot take advantage of plugins. Correct me if I’m wrong. I had my account cancelled because plugins couldn’t be used.
The good side is that after paying the WordPress premium account fee, if you aren’t satisfied, you can cancel the account within a certain period (I think two weeks) and get your money back.

My advice is to open a site via wordpress.org. I do not recommend wordpress.com.

Thank you for the information..

Well, what kind of disadvantages might a Blogger site have… if anyone knows about this, could you write something about it too?

As far as I understand, there is no limit to entering content; increasing Drive’s capacity is sufficient to increase photo and video capacity… It seems it isn’t very sufficient regarding plugins, but Google already handles the SEO issue, so what kind of need might remain?
