I want to start by apologizing to all of you, unfortunately I cannot give the site name. I have been burned before; cunning competitors applied the exact same tactics I received from other forums (I watched them do it myself).
I have a website, an already established site of about 5 years. There are approximately 12-13 thousand data entries on the site and almost 100% of the data is indexed in Google. The question I want to ask is, how can I ensure these pages rise in rankings? All of them are essentially searched for by a single keyword.
For example, the way the data “Siamese cats - Izmir region / 3rd street” is searched and found on Google is directly “Siamese cats”. Since I cannot apply SEO to 13 thousand pages individually, what should I do? Will improving the site itself definitely provide support to the sub-pages in this regard?
Of course, I don’t expect magic, but let’s discuss it Have a nice day
I have a WordPress site with unique content where no backlink work has been done. I have observed that pages with comments rank higher in search results.
Encouraging visitors to comment might help. For this:
On pages receiving 30-40+ daily hits, you can add text at the end of the article in a large font saying “What do you think about xxx? Send us a comment” or “Ask us what you’re curious about regarding xxx and let us answer!”
Users should not be required to fill in the name and email fields to comment, and the URL field should be removed. (Some visitors want to comment anonymously. Even if filling out the URL field isn’t mandatory, people still fill it with random info. People might feel too lazy to fill out the form and may not comment)
Mobile compatibility provides an advantage in mobile searches. This should not be ignored.
My suggestions are mostly for blogs, and unfortunately, they require dealing with articles individually. However, you never know how much traffic an article will bring. I don’t know if your site uses WP or what kind of content you have. The forum has quieted down; I hope there will be people answering
Let me share my own tactic; I do the same thing in my article, and every topic I add appears on the 1st page for the main keyword. The reason it ranks is that the article I write isn’t just 300 words or so; it is long. Also, after writing part of the article, I wait a few days, then I continue adding to it at the same rate. What I mean is, if you write an article, save it, and never look at it again, it might rank high initially, but it will eventually drop.
Working on every single topic isn’t impossible, but it is just as hard. My advice to you could be this: on popular forums and social media sites, for instance, in a topic opened asking “I have a Siamese cat, how can I feed it?”, you can quote a part of your topic on Siamese cats and leave a link. This might not yield results in the short term, but I am sure it will provide great returns in the long run. Of course, you can apply this without spamming and for your topics that truly provide benefit.
I’m following along; we can brainstorm with some good methods.
