I will buy a com.tr domain

I am going to buy a com.tr domain on behalf of the company. It is not a sole proprietorship but a limited company. I am reading the required documents, but everyone has written nonsense; not a single company has said “if you do this and this, it is done.”
Is there anyone among you who has a com.tr domain for a company? If so, what is required? Can you explain this to me?

I think nic.tr is sufficient

If there is a trademark application, it is sufficient to send a photocopy of the documents related to the trademark to the place where you will register; if not, a photocopy of the Trade Registry Gazette. Registration locations generally consider uploading a copy to their system sufficient. If they ask for the originals, register somewhere else. They cannot ask for the originals.

This might be off-topic, but there is something on my mind. Let’s say I obtained the .com.tr extension by submitting these documents, and then I closed the business, but I still hold the domain. In this case, if I renew it, will I keep the extension? If someone else tries to acquire this domain, can they take it back from me because I closed the business?

Whichever company the domain belongs to can apply to nic.tr independently of you and transfer it to themselves; in this case, you can’t do anything.

There are places that provide it without documents; they fix the paperwork and charge a fee between 250 - 300 TL. You make the payment, and they handle it. For a Ltd. company, 300 TL is a small amount, in my opinion.

Those people can take back that domain whenever they want, but imagine you’ve brought the site to great heights, and then you look and the domain is gone.

They register using your ID information. I have friends who bought them and didn’t experience any problems. If it were just about buying, everyone would do it, but why would they? If they did, they couldn’t do this business again. Would they tarnish their record for the domain they are buying from you? You need to think logically. No need to be afraid

Sir, a trade registry gazette and a signature circular are a few of the required documents. You can find out about the documents from nic.tr

It will be sufficient to submit only one of the official documents listed below that is appropriate for your field of activity.

  • For commercial legal entities and organizations, any one of the documents mentioned in the following three items,
  • “Activity Certificate”, “Trade Registry Certificate”, “Chamber Registry Record Copy” obtained from the Chamber of Commerce, or the trade title announcement published in the Turkish Trade Registry Gazette,
  • “Trademark Registration Certificate” or “Trademark Application Certificate” obtained from the Turkish Patent Institute

You are very right in what you say. These documents are required for commercial accounts, and if submitted, you can obtain the .com.tr extension. The first person to submit the document gets the .com.tr extension.
Additionally, for .com.tr domains to be registered to a person, you can obtain the .com.tr extension with your name and surname as written on your ID by applying only with your T.C. ID number.
