We had our website redesigned, and since our homepage title was still appearing as the old title in Google searches, we removed the homepage using the URL removal feature in Webmaster Tools. We did this thinking that it would then be re-indexed correctly.
We performed this process yesterday, and now there is no trace of the site left on Google. I wonder if Google will re-index the site, and when? The sub-pages were also removed; will they return? What do we need to do?
It has been 3 days since the action was taken, and of course, since all pages have been removed, there is no request left to cancel, so there is no situation to cancel the request at the moment. Do you have any other suggestions?
