You know that some hosting companies pay between $50 and $80 in exchange for affiliate referrals, so can I do this via a shortcut? I mean, is it possible to claim it while doing small jobs on my own behalf, for instance while setting up a blog for a friend, etc., or to claim it and never use it (with $20-30 earnings per annual hosting)? Do I need to constantly change IP or DNS? If necessary, how is it done without getting caught?
I don’t think you should go down that path. Maybe send your own affiliate link if a friend needs it, but this felt like a scam to me. (Sorry if I was too harsh)
