An interesting tactic

Greetings

A site achieved a rapid rise in a very short time for a local keyword I have been tracking for a while, and reached the 2nd rank despite being very new. When I looked at the site’s backlinks via Moz, I didn’t see any noteworthy backlinks other than a few forum promotions. It only gets a link from a site called serawakpools com that I couldn’t make sense of. As far as I understand, the site dynamically pulls images from websites and creates pages by placing tags underneath them, but I couldn’t figure out how much benefit it provides, what it is, what it’s good for, or the logic behind it. Does anyone have an idea about this?

As.

My site is a domain approximately 7 years old, while the fast-rising competitor site I mentioned is only 1 year old. The competitor domain has no history; they only installed WordPress 2-3 months ago and reached around 800 indexed pages by overusing categories and tags. Our index count is 50. It is not a site we can expand much in terms of content; we can only add the work they do and a small number of articles related to it. I predict the other site will drop back down shortly, but today I also encountered many sites similar to serawakpools. If that is what they are doing, they are providing backlinks by pulling images from the URL. Do you have information on the details of this method? Does it work?
