A Forum Site Only for University Students

I had opened a topic here before. I wanted to start a site about the city and university where I study. I was thinking of sharing news and stuff about the university. I gave up because I couldn’t find any supporters.
Now I have an idea for a forum site. A site where only university students can register. The university provides an email service

Many universities have their own forums. They are generally used by students staying in dorms. The purpose of these forums is to share movies within the university. If you are at the university and living in a dorm, sharing movies and TV series yields immediate traffic in the short term. If you know how to set up a basic FTP network, you can take advantage of this. Since you are within the university, data sharing can be done quickly.

If you use social media well and can engage students with truly attention-grabbing content, you can get traffic. For example, in Facebook groups, lecture notes, PDFs, photos taken from notebooks, etc. are constantly shared; you can find tons of content. However, these groups are usually private groups of 50-100 people belonging to specific classes. If you follow these and access the content, you can get good traffic during midterm and final weeks. You have nothing to lose by trying; you can make money from anything you put effort into. Best of luck to you.

Another suggestion I have is that visitors no longer stay on forum-style sites for as long as they used to. Instead, I think if you started a blog with a magazine theme and plenty of images, you would have more followers..

Sir, as I mentioned at the beginning, I had considered setting up a blog too, but if I set up a blog, only administrators will be able to add content. In forum sites, however, since everyone can add their own content, I think the return rate will be higher. At the same time, it is impossible for me to find and share all the class notes by myself. But if the forum attracts interest, there will be volunteers who share notes.
Something like this is also possible. There are WordPress forum plugins. As you suggested, a blog could be set up with a forum alongside it.

In my opinion, forums are a thing of the past. People don’t leave Facebook anymore.
I set up a University Site + Forum. The forum died, we are continuing with the site.
This year we started getting external ads and such, it picked up a bit.

I am giving up on another project.

If there isn’t a Student Portal-style site at the university, I think you could set up a nice news site with social media support.
However, you need to have connections and time.
We have been spending time on www.saukampus.com for 4 years. It is just starting to come into its own.
