Guys, I have been involved in website projects as an amateur for about 5 years.
Up until 2 years ago;
-keyword domain
-a little copied or original content, doesn’t matter much
-and plenty of anchor text backlinks
these were more than enough to rank the site higher.
On many forums, guys who know SEO have started talking about very different tactics and techniques, but I think most of these are at an academic level, meaning they are not things that just anyone can understand or dedicate that much time to doing. Besides, they are explained in such a way that after a while, the conversation starts revolving between two people at a pro level, and no one else can participate in the discussion or express their issues. Now I see that similar posts have started appearing on this forum as well.
Guys, if the purpose here is to be helpful to each other and guide the way, it shouldn’t just be about dropping a link saying “here’s your so-and-so list.” If these are genuinely useful methods, they should be explained with at least a picture or two or a video.
Also, my personal opinion is that these shared lists and whatnot are being shared because they have reached their expiration date or are no longer useful.
Finally guys, in simple terms, what should be done nowadays and what path should be followed so that everyone can get somewhere, at least a little bit.
Tactics should be determined according to the industry.
Every industry definitely has its tricks of the trade, but I believe the main principles are the same.

Basically, I think creating original content and promoting it on appropriate social media is the first thing that can be done in the initial stage. The rest develops over time anyway.
A considerable portion of Seocry members are SEO professionals. Because of this, there will be many “professional level” discussions, and I think this is a good thing. This way, even the most expert among us will benefit from the forum.
Perhaps discussions could be assigned levels like beginner, intermediate, and advanced. However, usually, the intended level is clear right at the beginning of the topics. If the person asking the initial question is not very familiar with the topic, they can specify this; the respondents can also try to write in a way that caters to the beginner level as much as possible. Otherwise, breaking down every discussion to a basic level would be truly laborious, which would lead to a decrease in posts.
If someone shares a list saying “here are a bunch of backlinks for you, enjoy the benefits,” I think we should thank them instead of criticizing them. If we don’t know how to use them, we should take the trouble to learn from somewhere. The answers to all questions are available in the search bar. Some of the posts on this forum are truly valuable; they contain information we couldn’t buy even with money, so let’s appreciate their worth.
By the way, adding an SEO glossary to the site for the beginner level, or creating a knowledge base with simple explanations could also be considered.

I had previously made a suggestion , but it didn’t get much traction. This was exactly what I wanted to do: expert members creating a detailed archive and newcomers to the industry benefiting from this archive.
