Well, I took fewer. It had some effect, but I was doing other things at the same time, so I can’t say it was only its effect.
If you bought them all at once, your site will start to decline in about 15 days 
You should try to acquire links by spreading them out over time; if you get too many links at once, there is a high risk of being penalized. If the sites you get links from are strong and you trigger a paid link signal, Google will never let you advance.
