Is it harmful to publish paid promotional articles on our site? The articles are unique but contain content unrelated to the site’s content.

Provided you don’t overdo it, as long as the articles are definitely relevant to your content and original, I don’t think it will do any harm. In fact, if you ask me, it will be beneficial.

Just as we buy promotional articles from sites with similar content for our own site, we can also provide promotional articles to sites with similar content. Actually, the point here is for Google to perceive this organically; that is, making “Uncle Google” see it not as if you sold a promotional article for money, but as if you found something you were looking for on the net on that site, which in my opinion is always advantageous for both you and the other site. As for the sale of promotional articles, it is necessary to make outbound links without going overboard. If you ask why: everyone recommends you and gives backlinks (I wrote this assuming you bought paid promotional article backlinks, etc.), but why aren’t you linking out to anyone? Therefore, making outbound links without going to extremes and turning the site into a junk site can even be beneficial.
