Hello friends, a friend of mine called me today and said he wants to open an e-commerce site.
My friend draws. Someone liked his drawings, and they are thinking of printing these drawings on notebook covers and selling them, and at this point, they asked for my help. Since I have never dealt with e-commerce style themes before, I don’t have much knowledge. Moreover, as far as I know, e-commerce sites require a bunch of stuff like SSL certificates and virtual POS for online shopping. I look forward to hearing from friends who can help with theme recommendations and information on the minimum and maximum costs involved.
For the payment part, check out iyzico if you’d like; as far as I understand, it doesn’t require a virtual POS or SSL. However, I haven’t used it, so I won’t make any positive or negative comments. For the theme, you can use a WooCommerce-supported theme, like ElegantThemes Divi.
The theme on tema.ninja is a cliché theme, and since that site’s customer satisfaction is obvious, I don’t think I’ll prefer it.
If you have a nice design in mind on ThemeForest or another site, I would be very happy if you could add it as a link.
I checked Iyzico upon your recommendation, and it’s a very nice system. It’s great that there are no starting fees and it is WP-integrated with WooCommerce. The 2.5% deduction isn’t too high either; I think I’ll use this instead of a virtual POS. Thanks for the recommendation. Also, if you have a theme to recommend, I would really appreciate it if you could add the link.
Thanks for the recommendation, sir, but for the moment I’m not thinking of using such a ready-made system outside of WP.
If you want, take a look at Elegant Themes Divi; you can configure it as you wish, and if you have a little knowledge, you can edit it yourself too. It is an easy-to-use theme. It also has WooCommerce support.
It is also among the premium themes in a topic here.
If you use Iyzico, I would appreciate it if you share your experience here, so we have an idea.
I do not recommend getting a theme from Tema.ninja if you do not have sufficient WordPress+PHP+CSS knowledge.
For iyzico, SSL + static IP + contracts + tax certificate, bank receipt, and signature circulars are required during the application.
Since WooCommerce is a plugin on the WordPress infrastructure, it has a structure suitable for development.
