About .xyz Domain

What do you think about .xyz domains currently sold for $1.99 at places like Rebel and Isimtescil? Is it logical to invest?

I have seen .xyz extension sites at the top of Google results, and it is starting to happen even more. I have one too; I am going to do something with it, and I think even if it used to be important, it isn’t that much anymore because even .tk sites can rank at the top if the content SEO is good. I think it is doable.

I think we are heading towards a path where, when we search for something in a search engine, the site’s extension will indicate what it is about. Those doing business relevant to domain extensions like .estate, .ventures, .clothing, and .technology may rank higher after a while. The XYZ domain could be a domain extension that can succeed in its own sector.

You mention its own sector, but only in our country is xyz perceived as p**no. There is no such thing in other countries. People confuse it with the xxx extension.

I agree with your first sentence here. But this doesn’t quite fit for our country because the majority here still just click on whatever Google shows. Typing a website address into the browser or looking anywhere other than the title in search results is something many people don’t do.

I agree with what you wrote. This will take a long time in our country. I didn’t write the XYZ domain as P**no. I think the XYZ extension is related to mathematics and/or chemistry. At one point, there was a rumor that Google didn’t look favorably upon the .xxx extension. (I haven’t tested this, I’m just saying what I read.) But the XYZ domain is different. There is no reason for the XYZ domain not to be successful.
